Valmorel with children: near ESF and Piou-Piou
With children, a good holiday depends on small things: a relaxed start, suitable lessons, a simple meal and a proper break. Our studio for four in Crève-Cœur is a base for skiing, play and family time.
Choose lessons by age and ability
ESF has separate options for ages 3–5, 6–12 and teenagers. Club Piou-Piou offers introductory lessons. Age alone is not enough: check the required ability, times, ski pass and meeting point for your chosen course directly with the school.

Prepare gloves, goggles, helmet, socks and useful documents the evening before. Check the school’s instructions about equipment and meals. Allow time before the first lesson to find your way. The studio has four single beds, a movable partition, a bathroom and separate WC: plan a simple morning routine for four.

Half a day outdoors, lunch at the studio and a short outing may work better than a packed schedule. Alternate skiing, sledging in authorised areas, walks and games. Let weather and children’s energy guide you. The kitchen, board games and raclette appliance also make an easy evening indoors.

Keep an alternative to skiing or hiking: cinema, relaxation, a stroll around the village and local food. Check the tourist office programme and providers’ opening times or booking requirements. Back at the studio, enjoy a meal together using the equipped kitchen and raclette appliance.
